Q&A:

Q. What’s your role at Dynamic and how do you help support our clients?
A. I manage the new vendor process, cybersecurity due diligence for both new and ongoing vendors, the data conversion process, statement rebranding, custodian security administration, bulk population of Dynamic forms and editing training videos.

Q. What attracted you to Dynamic, and what compels you to work in a profession servicing wealth advisors?
A. I’ve always been interested in finance. My dad was an investment advisor.

Q. Where do you call home?
A. Springfield, Missouri

Q. Tell us about your journey in magic. When did it start? What’s your favorite type of magic to perform? Any famous magicians you’ve worked with?
A. I started studying magic at the age of 12 under a Las Vegas headliner. From there, I joined the international brotherhood of magicians, won awards in close-up magic and have been published in multiple magic magazines.

My favorite type of magic is grand illusion, though I also love card effects and close-up magic since there’s a more intimate connection with the audience. I’ve been featured on the hit CW show, “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and worked with David Copperfield’s producer on the illusion we performed.

Having just finished a residency at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City, working with Masters of Illusion, I’m looking forward to being at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey through the rest of the year.

Q. Who is your favorite superhero?
A. Superman. I grew up watching Smallville with my dad and I was always inspired by his morality and hang-ups in trying to do the right thing despite having the power to be/do whatever he wants.

Q. What’s your favorite quote?
A. “Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it…once you learn that, you’ll never be the same.” – Steve Jobs

Q. How long is your commute to Dynamic?
A. 27 seconds.
